Janara Khassenova is a pianist from Kazakhstan, of the former Soviet Union. She is a graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory, having completed post-graduate studies there. While in United States, she completed an Artist Diploma Program in Chamber Music from the Longy School of Music. She has performed as a soloist and with chamber ensembles and orchestras in countries of the former Soviet Union, Italy, Greece as well as the United States. She is currently teaching piano at her studio in Newton, MA . Ms.. Khassenova performs frequently in a four hand piano duo with pianist Ellina Blinder.
